Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your safari guide warmly welcomes you before transferring to your Arusha hotel. Relax after your journey and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Tanzania’s safari gateway city. Later receive a detailed safari briefing outlining the incredible wildlife destinations and experiences awaiting throughout your adventure.
Depart Arusha after breakfast and travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for enormous elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive searching for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and diverse birdlife along the Tarangire River before dinner and overnight at your safari lodge or camp.
After breakfast, depart Tarangire and journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Travel through beautiful landscapes and traditional villages before entering the endless plains of Serengeti. Enjoy game viewing en route while searching for elephants, antelopes, predators, and other wildlife species before arriving at your safari camp for overnight accommodation.
Spend the day exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives across vast wildlife-rich plains. Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and massive herds of wildebeests depending on migration season. Enjoy picnic lunch inside the park while experiencing breathtaking scenery and exceptional wildlife photography opportunities throughout the adventure.
Enjoy breakfast before departing Serengeti and traveling toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Experience game viewing along the route while admiring beautiful highland scenery and wildlife habitats. Arrive near the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay, preparing for the following day’s incredible exploration of the famous Ngorongoro Crater ecosystem.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for an exciting game drive within one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Search for rhinos, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and flamingos across the crater floor before ascending and returning to Arusha. Later transfer to the airport or hotel, marking the end of your amazing Tanzania safari.
